What to Bring and Check
- Please don't drive into the bay. We'll bring your car in for you.
- Everyone out of the car, people and pets.
- Take your valuables with you.
- Have your registration handy.
- Clear both license plates: take off bike racks, plate covers or anything else in the way.
- Tall vans: please remove ladder racks or anything that won't clear our bay door.
- Turn off Bluetooth on your phone, so your calls don't ring through the car while we're inspecting it.
Avoid a Fail: Check These Before You Come
These are the most common reasons cars fail, and you can take care of them yourself.
- Massachusetts plates on both the front and the back of the car, securely attached.
- Nothing covering either plate: no plate frames over any letters, numbers or the state name, no tinted or clear covers, no bike racks or hitch accessories in the way.
- All bulbs working: headlights (low and high beams), tail lights, all three brake lights, turn signals, and the rear plate light.
- Wipers that clear the windshield cleanly, and washer fluid topped up.
- Nothing in the driver's view: no stickers on the windshield, nothing hanging from the mirror.
- The gas cap on and tight.
